dairy-bar-halifax-art-print
Dairy Bar, Halifax Art Print

The sketch celebrates the Dairy Bar in Halifax, where a stop for soft serve becomes part of a summer afternoon. It brings back the pleasure of choosing a flavour at the South Park Street take-out window, catching up over a cone and taking your time before heading back into the city.

Nestled in the Stillwell Beer Garden, this seasonal ice cream bar puts local and seasonal produce at the centre of its playful menu. Vanilla sits alongside a rotating soft-serve flavour, with the option to twist the two together. Lemon curd, raspberry sauce and house-made crumble add something extra, while changing feature sundaes give each visit the possibility of a new favourite.

Open from May through October, weather permitting, the Dairy Bar follows the warmer months in Halifax. Whether it recalls a familiar summer stop or a flavour you still think about, this sketch keeps a little of that season close.

FOR ART PRINTS:

Print formats include 5"x7", 8"x10", 9"x12" and 11"x14".

Reproduced on high-quality 100lb paper with archival ink.

Signed by the artist and ready to frame.
