Now Stocked at Cool as a Moose in Old Quebec City

This past December, we made our way to Quebec City and connected with the wonderful team at Cool as a Moose in the heart of Old Quebec. Hazel and Patricia welcomed us into their beautifully curated shop, and we're thrilled to share that Downtown Sketcher is now stocked there.

A Perfect Fit in Old Quebec

Cool as a Moose has been a fixture in Old Quebec for years, offering visitors and locals alike a carefully selected collection of Canadian-made gifts, apparel, and art. Their shop sits in the historic district where cobblestone streets wind past centuries-old stone buildings, and the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac towers over the St. Lawrence River.

It's exactly the kind of place where our sketches belong—surrounded by the architecture and heritage that inspire them.

What You'll Find In-Store

Right now, Cool as a Moose is carrying a selection of our Quebec City prints and greeting cards, including the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and Umbrella Alley. These sketches capture two of Quebec City's most beloved landmarks—one a grand historic hotel that's defined the skyline since 1893, the other a vibrant, colour-filled passageway that's become a favourite photo stop for visitors exploring the old town.

We're already sketching up more Quebec locations that will be added to their shelves soon, so whether you're a local looking for art from your own neighbourhood or a visitor wanting to take home a piece of the city, there will be more to discover.

Visit Cool as a Moose

If you're in Quebec City, stop by Cool as a Moose at 46 Rue Garneau in Old Quebec. You'll find our work alongside other thoughtfully chosen Canadian products, and you'll get to experience the warmth and expertise that Hazel, Patricia, and their team bring to every visit.

For those who can't make it to Quebec in person, you can always browse our full collection of Quebec City sketches right here on our site—but there's something special about discovering them in a shop nestled in the very streets they celebrate.
