My art focuses on capturing the essence of the urban landscape, highlighting the beauty and character of city streets and architecture. Each sketch reflects the unique energy and atmosphere of the place. My fascination with architecture and storefronts began in childhood, and it has only grown stronger with time. From the moment I picked up a sketch book and and fine liner, I was hooked. The intricate details and unique character of each building inspire me to create art that is both beautiful and captivating.
I found that urban sketching was not only a way to document the places I visited, but also a way to connect with the people and culture of a place in a way that photography simply could not match. My Instagram page, @downtownsketcher, has been a labor of love where I have shared my sketches and received incredible support and encouragement.
