Commissions

Where art and architecture come together.

A commission is the perfect way to bring a personalised touch to your business, retail store, home or a memorable gift. Your favorite local bar,  the restaurant where you had your first date or your own store front will be hand drawn and coloured using alcohol-and-acrylic-based markers. Commissions are a great gift idea and addition to any home, office or shop space. Each sketch is unique and based on photos you provide. 

All commissions are created on a 9"x12" acid free, heavyweight, thick 100lb white board and will be signed, dated and sealed in an eco-friendly, compostable cello sleeve made of plant fibers with thick backing cardboard and mailed in a non-bend envelope. Local pickup can also be arranged.

I only produce architectural sketches of buildings, storefronts and homes (no portraits please). The preferred perspective for the sketch is normally straight on, but I do like an angle. If you have questions about which photos will work best, please reach out and we can work together to find the perfect reference image.

Processing time is around 2-3 weeks and depends mostly on current deadlines. Please reach out via email if you have questions about a specific time frame.

Please note that currently I only accept commissions from clients in Canada and the USA. 

Pricing
My standard fee for commissions is $275 excl tax.  
Shipping or local pick up can be arranged.

Copyright
Artwork copyrights are retained by the Artist and therefore the Artist retains the rights to reproduce the art in the future.

Framing
Like many artworks, an original is sensitive to light. Please ensure that your framer uses UV resistant/museum glass when framing. This glass will protect the artwork against direct or indirect light for years to come. I do have some framing options and happy to discuss or include a frame at an additional cost.
