The 2023 Christmas at the Forum marked our inaugural market experience, and we were truly touched by the warm reception we received. We're excited to announce our participation in this much-anticipated event once again this November.
This festive event has really become a holiday tradition for many Nova Scotians, offering a unique shopping experience filled with local artisans and crafters and we can't wait to share our new collections and products with you this festive season!
Christmas at the Forum: A Holiday Tradition
The Christmas at the Forum show has been delighting visitors for over three decades. Held annually at the Halifax Forum, this event transforms the historic venue into a winter wonderland of holiday shopping. The show began as a small gathering of local artisans and has grown into one of the largest holiday markets in Atlantic Canada.
What to Expect at the Show
Visitors to Christmas at the Forum can expect a diverse array of handcrafted goods, festive decorations, and unique gift ideas. The event showcases the talents of local artists, crafters, and small businesses, making it the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind presents for loved ones.
Downtown Sketcher's Booth
At our booth, you will discover a delightful collection of artworks celebrating the charm of Nova Scotian urban landscapes.
The offerings will include:
- Prints: A variety of high-quality reproductions of original sketches, featuring iconic Nova Scotia landmarks and cityscapes. The new Toronto collection will also be on display and we're planning to have a Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland collection ready too.
- Greeting Cards: Perfect for sending holiday wishes with a local flair.
- Christmas Cards: Specially designed seasonal cards showcasing winter scenes from around the province. There are new additions to the collection that will be sure to bring a smile to any recipient.
- Tote Bags: Functional and stylish bags adorned with Downtown Sketcher's distinctive artwork.
- Magnets: Miniature versions of popular sketches to decorate your fridge or office space will make great stocking stuffers.
- Coasters: Our newly launched coasters with cork backing will help protect your surfaces while enjoying a piece of local art and they make fantastic gifts.
