Exploring the Artistic Journey with Agricola Street Brasserie

In the vibrant heart of North End Halifax, Agricola Street Brasserie stands as a beloved culinary destination. My artistic journey with this charming restaurant began with a commissioned collage for a client, which prominently featured the Brasserie as their wedding venue.

The initial sketch caught the eye of the Agricola Street Brasserie team, leading to an exciting collaboration. They requested a reimagined version of the image, which they used to print postcards accompanying diners' bills — a delightful keepsake for anyone enjoying a meal there.

Agricola Street Brasserie Sketch

Three months later, Agricola Street Brasserie approached me again, this time to capture the essence of their exquisite bar. Known for its impressive selection of local wines, craft beers, and spirits, the bar is a focal point of the restaurant's inviting atmosphere. My sketch aimed to reflect the warmth and vibrancy of this space, celebrating the Brasserie’s commitment to showcasing local flavors.

As the 2024 summer season approached, I was inspired to sketch their famous patio. This cozy outdoor area is a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and share a meal with friends, embodying the relaxed and friendly spirit of the Brasserie.

Four Sister Houses

Adjacent to the restaurant, the iconic Four Sister Houses add to the neighborhood's charm. These historic homes are another subject of my artistic endeavors, capturing the architectural beauty of North End Halifax.
